Its Just A Box Deliveries
We all like our delivery’s to be straight forward and simple.
Its Just A Box uses a combination of Royal Mail, DPD and Parcelforce for our delivers. In the checkout section we have a range of delivery options so that you can choose what suits you best.
Click & Collect
We offer free click and collect for anyone who would like to collect their order from our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard. All click and collect orders placed before 1pm can be ready to collect same day Monday to Thursday. Any order placed for click and collect placed after 1pm will be ready for collection the following day.
Due to our opening hours on a Friday collection for orders placed on the Thursday will only be available for collection from 7 – 12. All click and collect orders placed on the online shop on a Friday will be picked and be ready for collection on Monday.
Although we are a working factory and not a shop, we are more than happy to alter orders when you arrive encase you have any last-minute extras you may need (We will also offer you a tea or coffee while you wait).
Standard
If you are not in a hurry are standard delivery is perfect for you. We use Royal Mail 48 or Parcelforce 48 to dispatch all orders where standard delivery has been chosen. Its Just a Box will always endeavour to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of cleared payment Monday – Thursday.
All orders placed on a Friday when selecting the standard delivery method, will be processed and dispatched on the following Monday. As the majority of item are shipped by Royal Mail it can take up to a week for delivery. It’s very rare for it to take so long – over 98% of all orders to UK mainland addresses arrive within 3-4 working days from the point of ordering. Please allow extra time during busy periods (Bank Holidays & Christmas) and adverse weather conditions, so allowing up to a week is considered safe.
Express
If you are in a hurry, we offer an express service. All orders placed before 2pm Monday – Thursday will be dispatched same day using the express delivery. For this service we use either Parcelforce or DPD. These are fully tracked services. Which effectively means that most orders will be delivered on the next working day.
Please note that certain areas are classed as ‘remote’ we do not charge any extra for these deliveries, but we would ask that you allow an extra day or two for these to arrive. These postcode areas are AB30-56, AB99, FK17-21, IV (all), KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41 and PH49-50.
Express by 12
If you are in a real hurry and need an item by a certain time, we offer an express service. All orders placed before 2pm Monday – Thursday will be dispatched same day using the express delivery. For this service we use either Parcelforce or DPD. These are fully tracked services. Which effectively means that most orders will be delivered on the next working day.

Free Delivery
We offer Free delivery for all orders over £50. We will always choose the best way to send your orders out to you. All orders will be dispatched and processed within 24 hours.

Ensuring safe and on time Deliveries.
Please ensure your email and phone number are correct and up to date, remember a mobile number is always bets. Choose a delivery address where someone will be available eg work place or neighbour. With our courier deliveries they will need to be signed for. Please note that if the couriers or royal mail try to deliver when you are not at home then we hat to take that as the point where delivery was attempted – we cannot refund the express charge if delivery was attempted in the correct time frame, but no one was in to sign for the parcel.
Both DPD and Parcelforce require a signature when delivering the parcels and normally require the person to be an adult.
All the couriers we use Royal Mail, Parcelforce & DPD may try to leave with a neighbour if you are not home. This is a standard condition with practically all UK couriers. Please note they may. In the case they do leave the item with a neighbour then they will leave a calling card to let you know where they have left it. If they have decided not to leave it with a neighbour, then they will leave a calling card for you with several options.

You will need to contact the delivery company to arrange a re delivery or collection.
Non-Receipt of an order
In the unlikely case your order does not arrive within the advised timescale, it will probably mean delivery was attempted but no one was in to take delivery. Please see below for the fastest possible solutions.
Royal Mail
For small and light orders, your order will probably be waiting for you to collect from the local royal mail delivery office. To find your local delivery office go to Royal mail website where you will be able to find your local one. If the postie has forgotten to leave a calling card advising you of an attempted delivery. A quick phone call to the delivery office will normally solve 95% of cases. If the local delivery depot does not have your parcel please contact us right away. If nothing has arrived after 15 working days Royal Mail will then class this as lost and we can claim against them.
Parcelforce
Non-delivery of Parcelforce orders is very rare. If something has occurred and you miss your delivery the driver will leave a calling card to advise delivery was attempted.
DPD
It is also very rare that a DPD delivery will not arrive on time. If something has occurred and you miss your delivery the driver will leave a calling card to advise delivery was attempted.
If Parcelforce or DPD have left a card, it’s important that you phone them right away to re-arrange delivery because if they delivery does not get re-arranged or the items collected they will return them to us. There is a return charge of £10.00 and we cannot re-deliver it free of charge either.
